For more than 18 years Elena advises clients on antitrust and competition law issues, including: general antirust compliance issues, concerted practices, distribution structuring and unfair competition. Elena’s practice area also includes industry-specific antitrust requirements (for instance, in pharmaceutical industry, insurance sector).

Elena has extensive experience in obtaining mergers clearances for M&A transactions and joint-venture projects, as well as in obtaining foreign investments (FDI), strategic and special regulatory clearances for various types of transactions and operations. She has also successfully represented clients in administrative and court proceedings on projects involving antitrust compliance matters and unfair competition.

Since 2022 Elena’s area of expertise also includes complex advice in the area of “countersanction”, including “exit” transactions, special regulations on dividends and other payments, business structuring, etc.

Elena’s TMT expertise covers regulation of telecom services providers, regulation of frequency spectrum (broadcasting, telephone network, satellites, etc.), regulation of mass-media (including restrictions applicable to foreign investors), obtaining telecom regulatory and editorial licenses.
